William Thomas Harbaugh Brooks (1821-1870)
William Thomas Harbaugh Brooks was not a native of Vermont, he was born in New Lisbon, Ohio, January 28, 1821. But his father was a native of Montpelier, Vermont. He is included in this listing because he commanded the 1st Vermont Brigade from October 3, 1861 to March 13, 1862, was was its division commander from October 18, 1862 to May 23, 1863.
