Obituary

The funeral service for Charles J. Brown, who died very suddenly of heart failure last Saturday at his home in Forestdale, was held Monday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Forestdale, L. M. Hayes the pastor, assisted by H. S. Hill officiating.

Mr. Brown was a veteran of the Civil War, and a member of Ormsbee Post NO. 18, G. A. R. of this village. The Grand Army burial was held at the grave by the post.
