Remarks: It is possible this is the same Samuel B. Brown who enlisted in Co. H, 146th IL INF, 9/64, and was dis/dsb 6/16/65; no pension for Samuel in the 8th VT INF, but Samuel of the 146th IL shows a widow Abby applying 2/27/1867; and a minor child applied in 1875 with Marcus Glover as guardian - Marcus Glover is in Holland in 1870, no wife, but in 1880, in Sutton, his wife is Abby C. Glover. (See pension record index card, attached).
