Obituary

NEWPORT

Johnson (sic) Bryant of Holland died Thursday of cancer after a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock and burial was in the family lot in the cemetery on Mead Hill. Mr. Bryant was a veteran of the civil war and had an honorable record. He was 84 years of age and leaves a wife and three married daughters.
