F. E. BUCK, MERCHANT HERE 30 YEARS
DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Worcester -- Francis Everett Buck passed away Friday afternoon after a long illness, due to a general breaking down, and a good deal of the time during the past two years he has been confined to bed.
Mr. Buck was an old and respected citizen, a Civil War veteran, and keeper of a general store here in town for 30 years.
Mr. Buck was born Sept. 1, 1842, the son of Thomas and Lydia (Templeton) Buck, and most of his life was spent in Worcester. He was married to Celia Burrill of Morrisville, and to them were born six children, two of whom are living -- Edith, wife of Irving Holmes, and Lottie, wife of Elick Bolio, of Worcester. Mr. Buck is also survived by five grandchildren and two half-brothers, John Buck of East Montpelier, and George Buck of Brookfield. and several nieces.
The funeral was held this forenoon at 10 o'clock at the church, with burial in the Worcester cemetery.
