Obituary

News has been received here of the death of Sidney C. Cady, Sunday, Jan. 3, at Sutton. He was born in Cambridge, Jan. 3, 1842. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in the 13th Vermont Regiment, Co. E, enlisting from St. Albans. He had been in poor health for several years from ailments contracted in the army. The deceased is survived by a wife, two sons, Edson Cady of Boston and Ernest Cady of Sutton and a daughter, Mrs. W. N. Thayer of Lisbon, N.H., also by a brother, Edson J. Cady, of Sweetsburg, Quebec, and a sister, Mrs. Mary C. Morgan of Johnson. The funeral was held from the home in Sutton Wednesday, Jan. 6. The burial was in the family lot in Brownington.
