Obituary

The funeral of the late Patrick Callan was held at St. Mary's church this morning, B. F. Kelley having charge of the ceremonies and Rev. Z. Druon officiating. Post Hurlbut, G. A. R., was represented by Commander Perkins and 23 comrades, who escorted the remains to the cemetery. The post had contributed generously to the support of Mr. Callan the past winter and spring and shred in the expense of his burial thus exemplifying one of the grand tenets of the order.
