Death of H. C. Campbell

Montpelier, June 3---Humphrey Campbell died early yesterday morning from the effects of a Hemorrhage, aged 59 years. Mr. Campbell was in his usual health Saturday, and was down town that evening. He was a native of this city, and for nearly a quarter of a century had been in the employ of the city, as foreman in the water works department under the superintendent.

He was the son of the late Alexander Campbell, and is survived by a wife, two sons and two daughters. For several years he had been an officer in the St. Jean de Baptiste Society, and his funeral will be held Tuesday, at an hour to be fixed later, will be in charge of that society, and held at St. Augustine's church.
