Resolutions on the Death of W. P. Cassidy At the last regular assembly of E. H. Stoughton Post, No. 34, Department of Vermont, G. A. R., the following resolutions were unanimously adopted.
WHEREAS: The Great Commander has taken to himself our highly esteemed Comrade, William P. Cassidy:
RESOLVED: That in the death of our esteemed Comrade we recognize the mysterious hand of the Great Architect of the Universe, who doeth all things well, and that we bow in humble submission to his will.
RESOLVED: That we extend to the bereaved wife, son, and daughter our heartfelt sympathies, and knowing that while they sorrow it is not without hope.
RESOLVED: That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the records of the Post, a copy printed in the Bellows Falls Times, and a copy be sent to the family of our deceased Comrade. W. L. Mandigo, Adjutant
