At the US Marine Hospital, N. O. La., on the 11th of Jan. last, of intermittent fever ending in consumption, Joseph Chamberlain, age 31 years, 7 months, a member of Co. A 8th Reg. Vermont Volunteers. " He died with an assured hope of a glorious immortailty through Jesus Christ the Savior" Joseph of Eden, Vt.
