Our village is again called to mourn the loss of a good man in the death of John Conner on the morning of May 16th. Mr Conner has for many years been a resident of our town, and had many friends here. He enlisted at the time of the Civil War and received a bad wound which has since caused hi a great deal of suffering

He married Miss Nelia C. Lewis, who died in 1905. He is survived by his only child, Mrs Maude Morway, who has the sympathy of the entire community in her great bereavement. The funeral was held at the house at 2:p. m. Tuesday.
