Obituary
Brandon
Henry C. Cross died at his home on Franklin street Sunday, June 11, at 7:5 p.m., after a brief illness from a complication of diseases, having been taken ill the Sunday previous. He was born in Brandon, June 2, 1838, had been a life-long resident of the town. He was a Civil War veteran, having served in Co. G, 12th Vt. Vols., was a member of C. J. Ormsbee Post, No. 18, G.A.R., and a member of the Congregational Men's club. A wife and one son, James H., survive him. Funeral services will be held at his late home Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock.
