Obituary

LINCOLN

Word was received December 23 of the sudden death of Adolphus Cushman in Rutland. He was a veteran of the Civil War, and a practicing physician in this town for many years. A few months ago he went to Rutland to reside with his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Barrett. Besides Mrs. Barrett, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. B.J. Gove of Springfield and a son, Arthur J. of this town, besides several grandchildren. The remains were brought here Tuesday December 25 and the funeral was held Tuesday December 24 at the Methodist Church.
