Earnest C. Colby

Captain Earnest C. Colby died at his home in Waterbury [CT] on Monday, death being due to a paralysis. He was 65 years old, a native of Washington, Vt., and served during the Civil War in a Vermont Regiment [10th]. At the close of the war he went to Rockville where he became a captain of the company of C.N.G. in that city, resigning when he move to Waterbury in 1879. He leaves a widow and one son.
