Obituary
STARKSBORO
James Davis, aged 78 years, a Civil war veteran, died October 1 of Bright's disease after a long illness. The funeral was held at the home Saturday, the Rev. Mr. Turnbull officiating. The interment was in Hinesburg and was incharge of the Masonic lodge of Hinesburg, of which he was a member. He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Sarah Tucker Davis, two daughters and two sons.

HINESBURG
The body of James Davis, a former resident, whose death occurred in Starksboro was buried here with Masonic honors Saturday afternoon. He leaves a wife, two sons and two daughters. He was a member of Patriot lodge and Cummongs Post, No. 37, G.A.R.
