The funeral of John C. Davis was held at his late home last Saturday, the Rev. B. P. Parker officiating. Mr. Davis has been in poor health for a long time. He came here from Moretown several years ago. He was a respected citizen and he will be greatly missed. He was a veteran of the Civil war and a member of Ezra Stetson Post, G.A.R. of this place.
