Obituary

ST. ALBANS - Body of Charles Downey of Waterbury Laid to Rest

The remains of Charles Downey, who died in Waterbury Monday, were brought here yesterday on the 11:37 train, the interment taking place in the South Main street cemetery. The Rev. Ralph F. Lowe, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated at the committal services at the grave. The bearers were Judge D. S. Danforth, A. Clinton Kent, G. Marsh Pierce and Safford E. Thorp.
