Dr. John Wesley Copeland, a well known Lyndonville physician, died last week in his 79th year. He was a veteran of the Civil war and after the close of the war began the practice of his profession in Lyndon Center. Later he located in Lyndonville, where he practiced with marked success for many years. Growing ill health some years ago compelled him to retire from active practice. He served the town as health officer for many years.
