Jones Ferris, a former resident of East Roxbury, died at the Elliot City hospital in Keene, N.H., May 24. He was 82 years old and had lived in Vermont nearly all his life. He was a Civil War veteran, a member of Co. K, 3d brigade, Vermont Volunteers.
