Obituary
WAITSFIELD. - George W. Fisher died last Friday morning. A few weeks ago diphtheria made its appearance in the family, and in a few days the youngest child, a little girl of four summers, yielded to the fatal disease. Mr. Fisher had diphtheria but tallied and got over it, only to be attacked by pleurisy and pneumonia, which resulted fatally. Mr. Fisher was a man of enterprise and good business capacity, whose absence will be keenly felt by the people of this community. He has held many important offices in the town, including those of selectman, lister, and school director. Mrs. Fisher has the sympathy of all in this, her deep affliction.
