Russell A. Gay

Morrisville Massenger: Feb. 24, 1905

Russell A. Gay. and aged man and highly respected citizen of Elmore, died Thursday afternoon of pneumonia. He was 77 years old, a farmer by occupation, and a veteran of the Civil War. The deceased leaves besides a widow, two sons and three daughters, William of Elmore, Nelson of Montpelier, Mrs. Nellie Tift and Mrs. Walter Thomas of Morrisville, and Mrs. Chester Ward of Elmore respectively. The funeral was held from the deceased's late residence, Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
