Obituary

Hiram George, who died last Friday night, was born in Vershire Aug. 12, 1822. His first wife was Miss Silloway of New Hampshire, to whom four sons and one daughter were born, all of whom survive him. He was married June 21, 1893, to Mrs.Abbey Wilkins Burbank. He was for four years a sailor.H e has lived about 30 years in Tunbridge. The funeral was Monday afternoon from the late residence, Rev. E.H. Alden officiating. Interment was in the cemetery at Vershire.
