Drury, George B., Essex Junction Vt. -- Graduated at the Military School at Philadelphia, Pa.; ordered before a Military Board of Examiners, of which Maj.-Gen. Silas Case was President, and recommended for appointment as 2d Lieut. U.S. C. Inft.; Apptd. Dec. 14, '64, and ordered to report to Brig.-Gen. A. L. Chetland, commanding post and defenses of Memphis, Tenn.; was assigned to Co. E, 59th U.S.C. inf., and must. into the service Jan. 27, '65; must. out Jan. 31, '66.
