Loren Hartson passed away Saturday at the advanced age of 84 years. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the home of his son, Homer Hartson, with whom he has made his home the past few years. He leaves besides his wife one son and two daughters. Mr. Hartson was a Veteran of the Civil war joining the colors in 1863 and serving in Co. D, 4th Vermont until the close of the war, being mustered out of service in July, 1865.
