Remarks: Widow, Cordelia, filed for pension 12/1/1891. The soldier was supposedly admitted to the U. S. National Home for Soldiers in Hampton, VA 5/7/1893 and discharged 1/28/1896. At this time, these events cannot be explained. Cordelia and daughters are buried at Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Granville, NY, but this soldier is not listed in the Jenks cemetery transcription.
