Vermont Items

Privates Williams Flanders and Henry G. Hunter of Company B, 2nd Vermont (from Castleton,) have been sentenced "to be drummed out of camp and the service and to forfeit all pay and allowances now due or that here-after may become due to them," for neglect of duty in failing to fall in with their company when ordered under arms, June 1st, and the sentence has been carried into effect. Col. Stoughton was President of the Court Martial.
