Obituary

James S. Hurson.

James S. Hurson died yesterday morning at 16 Centre street, the home of his daughter, Mrs. Victor Horner. Mr. Hurson was 69 years old and a veteran of the Civil War. Last Friday he was stricken with paralysis and was conscious but little of the time until his death.

Mr. Hurson was a native of New York city but had lived nearly all of his life in Underhill. Since the death of his wife, three years ago, he had resided with his daughter in this city. He was occupied at different times as a carpenter and farmer. Mr. Hurson was a member of the 16th Vermont.
