Alonzo C. Farmer, 80 years old, who died at his home in East Burke Saturday, was a California forty-niner and a veteran of the Civil War. He is survived by four children, Mrs. R.W. Simonds, and Dr. F.E. farmer of St. Johnsbury, Fred, who lives at home and Ida, a nurse in Buffalo, N.Y.
