Obituary

EDWARD F. JACKSON

Edward F. Jackson, who fought in some of the famous battles of the Civil War, including that of Gettysburg, died at his home in Pittsford, December 6 of cerebral hemorrhage. He was 70 years old, and a native of Castleton. He served with Company E. , 2nd Vermont of Berdan's Sharpshooters in the Civil War.
