Bury Edwin E. Jones

The funeral of Edwin E. Jones was held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of William Rouse in Shoreham. Rev. Bliss of that place officiated. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends and the Shoreham post of the American Legion was present in a body and fired a salute. The bearers were John Birchard and Jonas Birchard of Shoreham, Archie Cooke of Middlebury, H. H. Whittemore of Pittsford, C. W. And A. G. Jones of Sudbury. Burial was in the family lot in the East Cornwall cemetery.

Edwin E. Jones, a former resident of Cornwall, who died in Shoreham September 11, and whose funeral was held there on Monday, was buried in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery in town. Mr. Jones was 88 years old, a son of the late Jason and Lydia Hurlburt Jones. He is survived by one son, Silas, who resides in the state of Washington.
