Remarks: WPA Card on file at VHS in Barre, VT states "Not buried in Stannard Cemetery" in Stannard, VT. This card also mentions a plot location Lot 73 Block 3 Section 3. Perhaps this implies a cenotaph? However, walking the cemetery has yet to reveal a marker at Stannard Cemetery for this soldier.
