NORTH ADAMS

Hiram Kiser, 82, of North Adams died Saturday morning at the soldiers' home at Bennington, Vt., of which he had been an inmate for the last few years. He was a native of New York, but had been a resident of North Adams most of hist life. He served three years in the civil war as a member of a Vermont regiment. Mr. Kiser was a shoe cutter and worked for many years at Cady Bros and the late C. T. Sampson of North Adams.

His wife died 18 years ago and he leaves no children. The bofy will be taken to North Adams for burial.
