Obituary

Nelson Laplant, who lived on the Corey farm in the northwest part of the town, died Saturday from pleurisy, following an accident suffered about five days previous when he fractured several ribs. Funeral services were held Tuesday and interment was in the Randolph village cemetery. Mr. Laplant was nearly 80 years of age, having been born in Beekmantown, N. Y., Dec. 25, 1839. He is survived by his widow and three sons, John H. Laplant f Bethel, George Laplant of Randolph and Samuel Laplant of Panama.
