Funeral of Seth Lawrence
Bennington, Dec. 3. - The funeral of Seth Lawrence, for years a respected resident of the town, was held from his residence in North Bennington, Sunday afternoon.
The deceased, whose death was caused by heart trouble, was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in Company A, Eighth Vermont.
He was also an active member of G.A. Custer Post, G.A.R., and of J. G. McCullough engine company.
Comrade Tower officiated and the G.A.R. burial service was rendered at the grave.
