Obituary

EDEN --- Leonard W. Leach, formerly a resident of this town, died June 1, in Woodbury, at the residence of his son, Henry Leach His remains were brought here and placed beside that of his first wife (Sally Culley), who died several years ago. The deceased was 66 years of age, and a veteran, having served in the 13th Regt., Vt, Vols, He leaves a wife, now in the asylum at Brattleboro, and eight sons, and one daughter. Four of his sons acted as bearers.

The children of the late Leonard Leach (Veteran of the 13th regiment), were at the Corners cemetery Tuesday, preparing their lot for the erection of a family monument.
