FRACTURED SKULL BY FALL ON STEPS
EDWARD LOVELETT, VETERAN OF THE CIVIL WAR WAS INJURED IN FALL LAST NIGHT

Rutland, Jan. 30--Edward Lovelette, aged 65 years, died this morning at Fair Haven as a result of falling. He stepped on the ice last night, striking his head on some stone steps fracturing his skull.

He was a Veteran of the 13th Vermont Regiment, having enlisted from Richmond.
