Obituary
MAN DROWNED. - Albert Lyon of Waterford was drowned at West Concord on the 12th inst. He, with three others, were running logs in Moose river, when he was in some way knocked into the stream, and before assistance was rendered by the others, he was drowned. Young Lyon was a member of the 17th Vt. Regiment, and went with Grant from the Rapidan to Richmond without sustaining a scratch. He leaves no wife, but a mother who was dependent upon him for support.
