Wilder Magoon
NEWS & CITIZEN: MAY 26, 1905
Wilder Magoon who has been in feeble health for the past year, suffered another shock last week, and never regained consciouness, and died Saturday morning at 4:30. He served in the Civil War in the 11th Vt. Vol., Co.D nearly three years, or until the war closed. His record was one of the best, and he was one of Johnson's best citizens. He leaves a wife, one son and three daughters. The funeral services were held from his late home Tuesday, May 23. He was 72 years old.
