LOWELL --- Darius Maynard, who has been very ill for some time, died Thursday, June 10. He was a member of the Haze Post No. 74, G. A. R. He enlisted in the 13th infantry, Vol., Co. B., and served nine months; returning home he again enlisted in Co. L. Vt. Cavalry, and served during the remainder of the war. The funeral was held at his late home last Saturday, in charge of the members of the Hazen Post, Rec. L. P. Atwood officiating.
