WENT TO WAR WHEN YOUNG

Henry McGregor, Aged 69, Died at Swanton This Week.

Swanton, March 27. - The funeral of Henry McGregor, a well-known citizen, who died Wednesday of pneumonia after a brief illness, was held this afternoon. Mr. McGregor was 69 years of age and was a veteran of the Civil war, having served in Company I, 7th Vermont. He leaves his wife, who was Miss Celia Sampson of Swanton, to whom he was married 47 years ago; also a son, Clark McGregor, in Colorado, and a daughter, Mrs. Hobart Martin, Enosburg Falls. Oscar McGregor of Richford was a brother.
