Local and Personal Matters of Importance

Edmund Monroe, a resident of this place died at Glens Falls, N.Y., after a few days illness with pleurisy. He was 69 years old and a veteran soldier of the Civil war. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Lena Meacham of this village and two sons, E. D. Monroe, whose home is in Massachusetts, and William Monroe of Glens Falls.
