Obituary
Edward Mooney, who died at West Derby the 5th inst., at the age of 63,was a veteran of the late war, serving in Company B, 8th Vermont Regiment, afterwards an officer in a colored regiment. Baxter Post of Newport, of which he was a member, officiated at his funeral on Saturday afternoon.
