RANDOLPH -- News was received here on Monday morning of the death of Henry Gilbert of Randolph Center, where he was passing the winter with his daughter, Miss Martha Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was stricken with a shock about midnight Sunday, and only lived an hour after. For many winters Mr. Gilbert had been in this village, and had a large circle of acquaintances who will miss him. Mr. Gilbert was a Grand Army man, he having given service in the Civil War.

He is survived by two sons, Closson Gilbert of Randolph, Center, Rev. George Gilbert of Middletown, Conn., and two daughters, Mrs. White of White River Junction, and Miss Martha of Randolph Center.
