George Newton

The Vermont Journal, July 9, 1864

Instantly killed in battle May 6th, George Newton, a member of the 3d Vt. Reg't., Co. G, aged 18 years, 8 months and 26 days, formerly of Pomfret. Also George E. Clough, of the same Reg't and Co., from Pomfret.
