JULIAN M. NORTHROP DEAD

Was a Resident of Fairfield, and a Civil War Veteran

Fairfield, Dec. 21. - Julian M. Northrop died suddenly of heart failure at his home in this town yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Northrop was born in Fairfield, February 14, 1838, being the youngest son of Harmon Northrop. He served in Co. C, 12th Vt. Vols., during the Civil War. He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Samantha Eaton Northrop, one brother, Joseph, of St. Albans, and a sister, Mrs. William Deming of Pasa Rosa, Calif.
