From the Vermont Watchman (Montpelier) 29 Feb 1888

Comrade Calvin L. Norton of Hinesburg, late of Company F, Sixth Vermont Regiment, who died at the Vermont Soldiers' Home February 21, arrived at the home February 19 very much exhausted, and feeble with heart trouble and consumption.
