Obituary

Oldest Plainfield Resident.

Ervin V. Nye Died Wednesday Afternoon at age of 92 Plainfield, Oct. 13. -- Ervin V. Nye of this place passed away at hishome at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 12. Mr. Nye was the oldest resigent, being 92 years of age and having spent the greatr part of his life in Plainfield. He was also one of the few surviving Civil war veterans.

Besides his wife, Ophelia Everett,whom he married 62 years ago, he leaves two grandchildren, Ralph E. and Florence E. Nye, both of Barre.

The funeral will be held from the home Saturday at 1 p.m.
