Thomas O'Brien

Thomas O'Brien died yesterday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock at his home at 38 Hayward street, following a short illness. Mr. O'Brien was 79 years of age and in his immediate family is survived by four sons, Frederick, Thomas, Jr., of Newark, N.J., Alphonsus and Leo of Burlington; by one daughter, Mrs. O. E. Tipton of Burlington, and by eight grandchildren. Mr. O'Brien served in the Civil War as a member of Company D, 10th Vermont Volunteers, and was a member of the G.A.R. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
