Death of Mr. Olmstead

John D. S. Olmstead, age 78 years, passed away. Mr. Olmstead was a veteran of the civil war, having been a member of Co. C, 15th Vt. Volunteers. The funeral services were held at his late home the following Tuesday at two o'clock, with interment in the village cemetery beside his wife, who died several years ago. He leaves three sons, H.E. and C. H. Olmstead of this town and ErwinOlmstead of Morrisville. Mr. Olmstead was born in Lyman, N.H., but came wiith his parents to Greensboro at an early age. He was engaged in farming and was a prosperous and respected citizen of the town.
