Capt. Eben Grant, who has been a long time sufferer from dropsy, died last Wednesday morning. Rev. W. Johnson returned from conference to attend the funeral Friday. Mrs. John Demming and son, Maggie Grant, Robert Grant and wife, and Will Grant came home to attend their father's funeral. Two nephews, Charles and Bert, and niece came from Massachusetts.
